Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will support the video editing process from raw footage to polished final products, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling for a variety of media projects. Duties
- Support the editing of videos for different formats including social media and long-form content
- Organize and manage media assets using tools like Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
- Contribute to post-production processes including color correction, audio syncing, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and other media editing tools
- Collaborate with our social media manager to produce high-quality social media content for our clients
- Assist with graphic design tasks for video overlays and promotional materials using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite applications
Qualifications
- Proven experience with video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of videography techniques, filming processes, and live production performance
- Familiarity with media editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
- Knowledge of lighting for video production, theatrical lighting equipment, rigging, and lighting systems
- Experience operating broadcast studio equipment and managing audio/video processing workflows
- Ability to handle photography tasks and support live event AV production projects
- Technical proficiency in media editing tools combined with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly within a creative team
