About the Role
As an Optical Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and validation of high-precision imaging and light-based technologies. You will partner with engineering teams to transform complex designs into functional prototypes, ensuring every component meets rigorous performance standards through meticulous assembly and testing.
Responsibilities-
Execute the precise assembly and alignment of optomechanical components, including lenses, sensors, and mirrors.

Perform critical calibration and performance verification to ensure systems meet design specifications.

Troubleshoot technical anomalies to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation to guide build processes.

Document build configurations and test results to maintain a high level of traceability and quality control.

Support the transition of products from R&D prototypes into full-scale production environments.

Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory of specialized tools and optical components.
Qualifications-
Associate degree or technical certification in engineering technology, physics, or a related field.
