Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated DEEC Certified Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. We will help with college costs for professional advancement. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children will be safe, cared for and enriched.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention to students to support their unique learning needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care through vigilant supervision.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus.
- Experience with caregiving or babysitting can be beneficial.
- First aid certification is desirable to ensure the safety of all children in the classroom.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A DEEC Certificate stating what age group you are certified for.
