Kraken Kourts & Kraken Kids is more than a recreation venue — we are building a destination where families connect, communities gather, and memorable experiences happen every day. Combining pickleball, events, food & beverage, and interactive family entertainment, Kraken is designed to become a premier community hub for active fun and hospitality.
Over the next six months, Kraken will continue expanding with new attractions and immersive experiences specifically designed for children ages 1–8, creating even more opportunities for families to play, celebrate, and engage together.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and high‑energy Family Entertainment Center Venue Manager who thrives in fast‑paced environments, loves building teams and culture, and is excited to help scale a growing entertainment concept.
What you’ll do:
- Recruit, train, and inspire a high‑performing team across operations, guest services, events, and food & beverage
- Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, hospitality, and teamwork
- Lead daily operations with a hands‑on management style and strong visible presence
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences across pickleball, events, parties, attractions, and food & beverage
- Ensure the facility meets high standards for safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
- Support the launch of new attractions and family programming for children ages 1–8
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, guest engagement, and community impact
- Build strong relationships with schools, sports organizations, local businesses, and community groups
- Oversee leagues, tournaments, camps, parties, and special events
- Manage budgets, scheduling, inventory, and operating costs while driving profitability
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience in Family Entertainment Centers (FECs) or similar hospitality/recreation environments.
- Proven experience managing high-volume entertainment, recreation, sports, or hospitality operations.
- Strong team-building and people leadership experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a growing and evolving business.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and operational leadership skills.
- Experience with pickleball, youth programming, or community recreation is highly preferred.
- Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and community engagement.

Schedule Expectations
This role requires a flexible schedule, including regular nights, weekends, and holiday availability, as these are key operating periods for the business. The Family Entertainment Center General Manager is expected to maintain a strong on-site leadership presence during peak guest hours, events, and programming activities.
