American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with an active IL RN license and required ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications for a 6-week assignment.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting

Mid-shift schedule from 11:00am to 11:30pm

Rotating weekend shifts required

36 guaranteed hours per week

6-week assignment length

Active RN license in the State of Illinois required

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certifications preferred

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department

Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists and ancillary departments to optimize care and patient flow through the ER

Communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
-
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
-
Deliver care that addresses physical, psychosocial, and communication needs of patients and families
