Martin North Hospital’s Med/Surg and Telemetry Unit provides comprehensive care for patients with various medical and surgical conditions who require continuous cardiac monitoring. Many of the patients on this unit are gastro-focused . As Team Center Coordinator, you will provide top-quality customer service to patients, families and visitors to promote and support the best healthcare experience possible. You will perform various administrative and clerical duties to ensure efficient operational flow in your department while offering direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. This role offers you a unique opportunity to enhance both your management and nursing skills in a welcoming, encouraging environment.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Assist with unit clerical functions and in trouble-shooting equipment failures, such as call systems, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices.
Provide or assist with basic patient care activities, such as taking vital signs and weights, personal care, activities of daily living, patient transfers and transports, pulse oximetry and point of care testing.
