Overview
We are seeking a motivated and resourceful IT & Operations Specialist to join our growing managed services team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our helpdesk, owning day-to-day client support while also managing network infrastructure, billing, and quoting. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who wants real ownership over how support is delivered — not just a ticket queue to clear. You'll be the face of the company for many of our clients, so initiative, reliability, and a knack for clear communication matter as much as technical skill.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client helpdesk inquiries and support requests
- Run day-to-day helpdesk operations, managing ticket flow, prioritization, and resolution using Syncro (our PSA/ticketing platform)
- Manage and troubleshoot client network infrastructure using UniFi (routers, switches, access points, UDM Pro)
- Support and troubleshoot Amcrest camera/surveillance systems for clients
- Support and troubleshoot Algo speaker/PA systems, primarily for school clients
- Handle client billing and invoicing for support and project work
- Prepare quotes for clients on new equipment, services, or projects
- Identify and resolve recurring technical issues, bringing creative, practical fixes rather than just patching symptoms
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions — you're often the only face a client sees
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience (helpdesk, MSP, or similar)
- No degree required
- No certifications required
- Comfortable picking up new tools and platforms quickly (Syncro, UniFi, Amcrest, Algo)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who's comfortable owning client relationships with minimal oversight
