We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver/Delivery Driver professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various local destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and manual handling will be essential in maintaining smooth logistics operations. This position offers an energetic work environment where your driving skills and attention to safety will make a significant impact on our service excellence.
Duties
- Safely operate day cab semi and moffet and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to local clients.
- Load and unload cargo using Moffett or manual handling techniques, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Follow designated routes, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines to ensure compliance and safety on the road.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately using mobile devices, including delivery manifests and proof of delivery.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and material handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with courier or heavy load handling background.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is preferred.
- Warehouse experience including manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual lifting tasks regularly.
- Experience operating mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to safe lifting practices is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
