Requirements
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Residential experience preferred but not required.
- Hold valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Work alongside a team
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Perform electrical service calls, inspections, maintenance, and repairs for homeowners while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and identify potential hazards, code violations, or system deficiencies.
- Explain repair options, system conditions, and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.
- Prepare accurate estimates and present repair, replacement, and upgrade solutions that meet customer needs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Calculate the amount of materials needed for the job. Hang wires, fixtures, and fixtures to the walls.
- Make wire connections to switch boxes and light fixtures.
- Maintain service vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Keep work area clean; troubleshoot problems.
- Promote company maintenance programs, electrical safety solutions, and system upgrades when beneficial to the customer.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and technologies.
