GunMag Warehouse, a leading supplier of online firearm accessories, is seeking a receptionist. This role starts as a temporary contract position through our preferred staffing partner with the potential to convert into a full-time employee role based on performance and operational needs.
The Receptionist creates first impressions for individuals interacting with GunMag Warehouse while exuding hospitality while simultaneously providing administrative support across the organization. A successful Receptionist is punctual, positive, coachable and collaborative.
Responsibilities:
Exudes hospitality and ensures a positive first impression for employees, clients, visitors and guests. Determines the purpose of individuals entering our doors and triages accordingly. Assists in providing a secure environment by monitoring visitor access.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks for the GunMag team as requested. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls, takes messages and schedules appointments. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
Upholds all safety standards, including abiding by safety rules, controlling access to restricted areas and reporting any health or safety hazards promptly. Ensures cleanliness of conference room, break area and restrooms; restocking sundries as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- One year of customer service, or similar experience required.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Authentic interest and / or previous experience in the firearms and accessories industry.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Primary Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
All of our work at GunMag Warehouse is done onsite at our facility located at DFW Airport. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, previous employment verification and drug screening. GunMag Warehouse participates in E-Verify and provides the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm our employees are authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay: $15.01 - $21.25 per hour
