Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
- Complete repairs and maintenance on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Perform engine, transmission, differential, suspension, steering, brake, cooling system, and electrical repairs.
- Diagnose drivability concerns using modern diagnostic equipment and service information.
- Document inspection findings, repair procedures, parts used, and labor accurately within Shop-Ware.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and shop quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate repair progress, additional repair recommendations, and parts requirements with our service management.
- Perform road tests and quality control inspections before vehicle delivery.
- Meet productivity and efficiency goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years minimum of professional automotive repair experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal set of professional automotive hand tools.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair information systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of automotive repair.
- ASE Certifications.
- Manufacturer (OEM) training or certifications.
- Experience using Shop-Ware or similar shop management software.
- Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostic experience.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
- Diesel repair experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
