Position Summary
The National Events Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the company’s regional event strategy to generate qualified leads, increase brand awareness, support sales growth, and strengthen relationships with customers and industry partners.
This role will oversee local and regional trade shows, home shows, expos, community events, contractor events, builder events, and other lead-generation opportunities. The Regional Events Manager will manage events from planning through execution and follow-up while ensuring each event produces measurable results.
Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Event Strategy
- Develop and maintain a regional events calendar based on company sales goals.
- Identify high-value trade shows, home shows, expos, community events, and industry events.
- Evaluate events based on lead volume, lead quality, cost, and sales potential.
- Establish event budgets and manage spending.
- Develop strategies to maximize lead generation and brand exposure.
Event Planning & Execution
- Manage events from initial planning through completion.
- Coordinate booth space, sponsorships, signage, promotional materials, equipment, transportation, and lodging.
- Communicate with event organizers, vendors, venues, and contractors.
- Oversee booth setup, event operations, and breakdown.
- Ensure the company maintains a professional and consistent brand presence.
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Establish lead and appointment goals for each event.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure events generate qualified opportunities.
- Train event staff on company messaging, products, lead capture, and customer engagement.
- Ensure all leads are accurately captured and entered into the CRM.
- Coordinate timely follow-up with the appropriate sales team.
- Track appointments, estimates, sales, and revenue generated from events.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage event staff.
- Coordinate sales representatives, brand ambassadors, and other event personnel.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and post-event reviews.
- Establish performance expectations for event teams.
- Hold event staff accountable for professionalism and lead-generation performance.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with event organizers and vendors.
- Manage event budgets and expenses.
- Maintain strong relationships with event organizers and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while improving event performance.
- Track event expenses and ROI.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Maintain consistent company branding across all regional events.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team on event promotions, social media, email marketing, and advertising.
- Create engaging event experiences designed to attract potential customers.
- Coordinate photography, video, and social media content when appropriate.
Reporting & Analytics
Track and report on key event metrics, including:
- Leads generated
- Qualified leads
- Appointments generated
- Cost per lead
- Sales generated
- Revenue generated
- Lead-to-sale conversion
- Event ROI
Provide regular event performance reports and make recommendations regarding which events should be continued, expanded, or eliminated.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in event management, trade shows, experiential marketing, field marketing, sales, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-driven and results-oriented.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and event teams.
- Comfortable representing the company in public.
- Experience with CRM systems and lead management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Construction, flooring, concrete, home improvement, or building industry experience is a plus.
Travel Requirements
- Regional travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–50% of the time, depending on the event calendar.
- Availability for occasional weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver's license required.
Performance Expectations
The Regional Events Manager will be measured on the sales and lead-generation results produced through events, not simply the number of events completed.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
