Why does the job exist?
The Senior Healthcare Surveyor will:
Track and monitor a variety of data and business related documents such as State Directed Payments, Value-Based for healthcare facilities, hospitals and provider financial agreements and quality performance;
Ensure accurate and timely reporting requirements are met to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations;
Perform invoice tracking and processing invoices and other related forms by following state management systems and additional administrative tasks maybe assigned.

The Senior Healthcare Surveyor is responsible for:
Assisting in the management of health-related and clinical program management and carrying out well-defined projects involving relatively independent work processes;
Independently performing general administrative tasks such as scheduling and keeping meeting minutes;
Interacting with team members and external partners to produce results within organizational structure and agency's mission;
Focusing on quality healthcare performance, electronic- health information systems, customer related marketing materials and other business operations functions.

Government and regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Architecture, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Rehabilitation, and /or Criminal Justice and two (2) years directly related experience in community based healthcare services and case management. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must obtain a Defensive driving certification.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in the office setting with exposure to visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. This position may require some in-state and out-of-state travel for training.
