The Co-Director partners with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, support staff and families, and maintain a high-quality early childhood education program. This position shares responsibility for creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children, families, and employees.
Essential ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Operations
- Support the daily management of the center.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety, and quality standards.
- Assist with planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts.
Staff Management
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
- Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback.
- Help maintain classroom coverage and staff schedules.
- Promote a positive and professional workplace culture.
Family Relations and Enrollment
- Build positive relationships with families.
- Conduct tours and support enrollment efforts.
- Respond to parent questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Support family communication and engagement activities.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate child and staff records.
- Ensure required documentation and compliance files are complete.
- Assist with enrollment tracking, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Support marketing and community outreach efforts as needed.
Classroom Support
- Provide classroom coverage when necessary.
- Support curriculum implementation and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Monitor classroom environments to ensure quality care and supervision.
Qualifications
- Meet all state requirements for childcare administration.
- Experience in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with others.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
