Position Summary
The Long-Term Care Pharmacy Marketing & Account Development Representative is responsible for identifying prospective facilities, building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, coordinating new account implementation, and supporting existing customer relationships.
This role combines outside relationship development with inside sales and account management. The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting with administrators, Directors of Nursing, and facility owners while also managing CRM activities, follow-up communications, and implementation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Behavioral Health Facilities, Correctional Facilities, Hospice Providers, and other healthcare organizations.
- Schedule and conduct sales presentations and facility visits.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline using the company CRM.
- Coordinate implementation of new pharmacy accounts with internal departments.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to strengthen customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
- Attend industry networking events and healthcare association meetings.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to achieve strategic growth goals.
Qualifications
- Healthcare sales, pharmacy, or long-term care experience preferred.
- Experience working with Assisted Living Facilities or Skilled Nursing Facilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable presenting to executives and healthcare administrators.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Compensation
Base Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience.
New Facility Commission Program
Earn additional income for every new facility successfully brought on board based on the facility's active patient census. Plus a monthly residual commission of per active patient for the first 12 months, provided the facility remains an active customer.
Commission is paid after the facility has successfully transitioned to the pharmacy and remains active through the company's established qualification period.
