Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Job Overview
Amplitude HR is currently seeking experienced Die Setters for a leading automotive plastic injection molding manufacturer in Sterling Heights, MI. This position is responsible for performing mold changes, setting up injection molding machines, and ensuring production equipment is running efficiently to produce high-quality automotive components.

Responsibilities
- Perform mold and die changes on plastic injection molding machines.
- Set up and prepare machines for production runs.
- Verify proper machine settings, temperatures, and cycle times.
- Troubleshoot processing and molding issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist with machine startups and production changeovers.
- Ensure molds, tooling, and equipment are maintained properly.
- Conduct quality checks to verify products meet customer specifications.
- Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of plastic injection molding die setting experience.
- Experience performing mold changes and machine setups.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and setup equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automotive plastic injection molding.
- Knowledge of robotics and automation systems.
- Experience with process adjustments and machine troubleshooting.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
