JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist in the direction & supervision of internal labor force and specialty subcontractors. The successful candidate will coordinate with project manager to assure requirements of project including but not limited to the following:
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolve problems.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
- Determine potential issues on site and issue RFI's for clarifications.
- Procure submittals
- Keep track of submittal's and RFI' log, ensure that most accurate information is available on site.
- Coordinate sitework daily, closely monitor subcontractors work and notify Project Manager of any discrepancies.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Prepare site logistics plans, ensures that all safety protocols are in place. Determine staging areas, temp. fencing, equipment driveways, unloading zones.
- Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Perform quality control on site!!!! (making sure that this person can be on site daily and constantly back check dimensions, placement of the equipment, coordination of MEP trades, ensure that there are no conflicts in the walls/ceilings)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- College Degree preferred in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Similar Software
- Experience with Procore or Similar Software
- Strong organization and follow up skills
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
