As a valued member of our property management team, your primary responsibility will be preparing rental units for new residents by performing thorough and detailed move-out cleanings. This includes ensuring each unit is cleaned to company standards, presents well, and is move-in ready for incoming tenants. In addition to residential unit turnovers, this position also involves cleaning and maintaining office spaces, common areas, hallways, laundry facilities, and other shared-use areas within our portfolio.
Attention to detail, reliability, efficiency, and pride in delivering high-quality work are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform full move-out cleans for unit turns, ensuring spaces are move-in ready (kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, walls, floors, windows, fixtures, and cabinets).
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and all high-use areas.
- Dust, wipe down, and polish surfaces including light fixtures, walls, baseboards, and doors.
- Remove trash, abandoned items, and ensure proper disposal.
- Deep clean carpets, flooring, and surfaces to remove stains, odors, and debris.
- Restock paper goods and cleaning supplies where applicable.
- Report any damage, needed repairs, or unusual conditions to property management.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and alert management when supplies need replenishment.
- Commercial/common area cleaning such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and offices.
- Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard, supporting quick and smooth tenant transitions.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
