Role: Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP)
Location: Millsboro, DE

Must-Haves
- Must have 1-year professional SNF experience.
- Associate's Degree from an Accredited College.
1. Evaluate and Diagnose Disorders
- Assess patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

Conduct standardized tests and clinical evaluations

Identify communication difficulties and swallowing problems
- Create individualized therapy plans based on patient needs

Set therapy goals and track patient progress

Adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Help patients improve speech clarity and pronunciation

Treat language delays and communication disorders
-
Provide therapy for stuttering and voice disorders
- Diagnose and treat swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)

Teach safe swallowing techniques

Recommend diet modifications when necessary
- Provide guidance on communication strategies

Teach exercises for speech and language improvement

Counsel families on how to support therapy at home
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Work with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists

Coordinate care plans for better patient outcomes
- Recommend and train patients to use communication aids when necessary
