Through direct collaboration with pharmacy technicians, nursing colleagues and providers, Goshen Health pharmacists perform the following:
- Review, interpret, and enter/verify medication orders
- Assess and implement clinical opportunities to optimize medication use
- Serve as a medication resource for other healthcare professionals including nursing and providers
- Dispense medication and verify accurate compounding and distribution of medications by Pharmacy Technicians.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- Preferred Experience: Experience preferable; a new graduate who has completed an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) as part of the academic program is acceptable.
- Certifications Required: Current license as a registered pharmacist issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
