We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support our HR consulting team. This role primarily provides internal support for client projects, including HR documentation, research, and coordination. At times, the specialist may serve as a liaison between the consultant and the client, responding to employee questions or assisting with follow-up when the consultant is unavailable. Prior HR experience is strongly preferred.
- Review, revise, and draft job descriptions tailored to client needs.
- Assist in the development and updating of employee handbooks.
- Research HR-related topics including compensation trends, employment law updates, and state-specific regulations.
- Support the creation and revision of HR policies and procedures.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, particularly when the consultant is unavailable.
- Respond to employee questions and provide guidance based on established policies and consultant direction.
- Prepare materials and documentation for client meetings and follow-ups.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Assist with special projects such as audits, handbook rollouts, or policy implementations.
- Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for internal and client use.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in HR, consulting, or administrative support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or document management systems is a plus
