Landscape Crew Leader

Lightning Lawn and Landscape you may also know us as ACE Outdoor Services is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to lead commercial and residential landscape installation projects at our South Lyon/Brighton Branch.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on landscape construction and installations NOT lawn maintenance, fertilization, or route-based service work.
We are looking for someone who can lead crews, operate equipment, read landscape plans, and deliver high-quality work efficiently and professionally.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage landscape installation crews on daily job sites
Execute landscape projects from start to finish
Handle job layout, materials, workflow, and daily production
Work hands-on alongside your crew
Maintain quality, safety, and organization on job sites
Communicate with project managers, office staff, and clients
Troubleshoot field issues and keep projects moving efficiently
Assist with snow operations during winter months
Project Work Includes:
Landscape installations
Softscaping and planting
Bed preparation, grading, and mulching
Sod installation
Residential and commercial landscape projects
Hardscape installations
Equipment Experience Required:
Excavators
Skid steers
Commercial landscape equipment and tools
Truck and trailer operation
Zero-turn mower operation knowledge required
Requirements:
Proven experience leading landscape construction crews REQUIRED
Landscape installation experience REQUIRED
Foreman or crew leadership experience
Ability to read and execute landscape plans
Experience with commercial and residential projects
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage crews, workflow, and production
Experience pulling trailers required
Valid Chauffeurs License REQUIRED
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
