A brief professional background: I have built two other businesses, growing them to 7-figures in revenue and can do the same with Purpose Landscaping. This is an opportunity for someone who loves building beautiful outdoor spaces for homeowners to work shoulder to shoulder with the owner and help grow an outdoor design-build business over the next several years. In addition to hourly pay, I am also awarding shares of stock in the business.
To apply you must be dedicated, humble, mature and capable at complex hardscape installations such as entire backyard and front yard custom landscapes with varying elevations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor landscape work and a strong understanding of high-quality hardscape installation practices. The right person is someone who loves building outdoor spaces for homeowners. A high integrity craftsman, who can think like an artist and enjoys interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the owner/President on landscape design and project plans. We spend time planning out projects to ensure job sites run at high efficiency and high utilization.
You must know the installation process from start through to completion of paver and/or flagstone walkways, paver and natural stone patios, retaining walls, stone and retaining wall steps, privacy trees, plantings, water features and tying them all together to create a space homeowners will love and enjoy spending time in. Our projects will often involve multiple hardscape installations.
You must know how to deliver outstanding customer service with homeowners and property managers.
You will need skill to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance of tools.
You will collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining the highest in quality standards.
Requirements:
Competent in hardscape installations: Paver and flagstone patios, walkways, stone steps, retaining/sitting walls and other hardscape features.
Mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping tools and equipment effectively including a skid loader, excavator, compactor, transit laser level, concrete / paver saw and the necessary hand tools.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks regularly.
Strong attention to detail, craftmanship, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional service for homeowners.
Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
