We are hiring a Catcher to support saw operations inside a truss manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining production flow and ensuring lumber is cut, sorted, and staged accurately.
What You’ll Do
- Receive freshly cut boards directly from saw stations
- Check measurements and ensure cuts meet required specifications
- Sort lumber by size, grade, and type
- Load material onto carts in proper sequence
- Apply job labels and assist with documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all PPE and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing setting
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Basic math skills including fractions and measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
- Construction or carpentry experience is helpful but not required
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
- Continuous standing and movement throughout the shift
- Repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting
Full Time | Day Shift - 7AM to 3:30PM | Overtime Available
This is an indoor position offering steady full time hours with potential for overtime based on production needs.
