Medical Assistant
Experienced Medical Assistant needed for Internal Medicine office Dallas Presbyterian area.
Must have 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant. Experience with eclinicalworks or other electronic medical records system is preferred.
We are searching for an applicant with outstanding multi-tasking abilities, is detail oriented, self-motivated, works well with others, and has a great ability to communicate with patients and staff. A friendly motivated attitude is a must!
The Medical Assistant is responsible for completing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of the physician. Daily duties include but not limited to rooming patients, vitals, administer injections, process prescription refills, lab order through EMR, clean and stock rooms, prior authorizations, referral requests, EKG, and spirometer. Needs to possess good computer skills.
Required experience 2 years in a clinical office setting, internal medicine is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent and have current certifications.
We require new employees to get drug tested, background check and have references (employment verification). Hours are Monday thru Friday.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
