The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for a Senior Executive Director, Green Hills
Position Type: Exempt
Pay Range: $95,000 to $125,000 (depending on experience)
We’re looking for an experienced, community-minded leader to help guide our Green Hills YMCA center with energy, purpose, and care. As the Senior Executive Director, Green Hills, you’ll help create welcoming center experiences, support strong teams, build community partnerships and keep operations running smoothly across programs, facilities, fundraising, budgets, and member service.
What You’ll Do:

Lead the daily operations of multiple YMCA centers while balancing staff development, program quality, facility upkeep, safety, and fiscal responsibility.

Build relationships with community leaders, organizations, businesses, volunteers, members, and staff.

Support fundraising, membership growth, program enrollment, and annual giving efforts.

Develop, manage, and monitor operating budgets to meet or exceed goals.

Recruit, motivate, train, evaluate, and support staff and volunteers.

Ensure excellent member service, safe operations, and compliance with Association policies.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Age: 21

Four-year college degree in a related field.

At least four years of experience in an executive director-level YMCA position.

Strong leadership, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to inspire teams and create a culture of service for members and staff.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Required certifications/training include CPR Pro with AED, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, New Hire Orientation, Child Abuse Detection/Prevention, BBP, and Adult Mental Health First Aid within required timelines.

YMCA Organizational Leader certification preferred.
