The Doubletree Orlando Airport is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! The Housekeeping Supervisor performs deep-cleaning inspections, prepare work orders and conduct daily operations. They hold a supervisory position that oversees housekeeping operations, inventory and guest complaints.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure hotel standards are maintained
- Ensure that rooms are cleaned in accordance with the Hilton and Doubletree brand and quality standards
- Examine rooms prior to guests arriving and conduct inspections upon their departure to assess if any damages have occurred
- Act as the primary contact between housekeeping personnel and other staff members to make certain that rooms are ready for guests
- Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures
- Ensure that staff is in adherence to the policies, procedures, uniform/grooming standards at all times
- Meet all cleanliness and condition requirements
- Resolve guest complaints and maintaining accommodations standards
- Develop and train the Housekeeping staff
- Deliver amenities and help clean rooms as needed
- Maintain supplies and linen, and participate in inventories
- Clean rooms as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in Housekeeping is required. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
SKILLS: Housekeeping inspectors must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions, and utilize good judgment. They need to be able to multi-task, establish priorities and communicate well with others. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. OnQ knowledge is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Required to regularly to walk and stand; lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.
Must be available to work FLEXIBLE SHIFTS, including afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
