Rella's Spielhaus, the premier German Daycare and Preschool in New York is located on the Upper West Side, 1/2 block away from Central Park.
We are looking for a qualified, dedicated and caring Assistant Teacher to care for our youngest children (12 - 24 months). At Rella's Spielhaus, we speak German, so you will too. We are looking for a native German speaker (C1 level proficiency acceptable as well).
This is a full time position can be full time (40hrs).
As an Assistant Teacher, you will work with the head teacher by supporting them to provide a safe, friendly, welcoming and clean environment. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of the Rella's Spielhaus Curriculum.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Support the classroom in free play, circle time, singing, arts& crafts and snack and lunchtime.
- Help with diapering/toileting, feeding, nap time.
- Accompany the children to the play ground and outings.
