Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, and performing specialized treatments such as floor polishing to preserve their appearance and longevity.
- Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and managing waste disposal responsibly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guests’ requests for additional cleaning or amenities.
- Manage custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting high surfaces, and detailed cleaning of fixtures to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Support housekeeping management with inventory checks for cleaning supplies and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively across different flooring types.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests.
- Experience with laundry processes and handling delicate fabrics with care.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeper management is a plus.
