We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence and Deck Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install fencing and decking materials using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Handle building materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting of lumber, masonry, and other construction supplies
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment on outdoor construction sites
- Use welding techniques when necessary to reinforce structures or customize fencing components
- Collaborate with team members to complete fence construction projects on time and to client specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each project
Skills
- Strong carpentry skills with experience in frame carpentry and building material installation
- Proficiency in reading construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience in fence installation, deck building, masonry, or hardscape work preferred
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and safety gear for construction tasks
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards
- Outdoor work experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and address their needs confidently
