Building Bridges, LLC is an established Birth to Three/Early Intervention company based out of Wethersfield, CT working with 500+ families and children in Central and Northern CT. We are dedicated to providing the best care possible to those we serve: children below the age of three with developmental delays and their families. We are currently looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to cover parts of our territory in central CT, specifically the Greater Hartford Area. We are looking for a SLP that wants to become part of a great team and provide support to the children and families of CT in their natural environments. The efforts we make have a vast impact on the growth and development of these children. SLPs of all experience levels are welcome to apply, but you must possess a SLP License in the State of CT and have some pediatric background. CFY candidates are welcome to apply!
Full-Time employees are paid a salary with a range between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. There is an extensive benefit package as well.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations/assessments to identify developmental needs and areas of concern in children.
- Create and implement individualized intervention plans based on evaluation/assessment results and family input.
- Work with families to understand their concerns, provide knowledge on strategies, and have them be involved in the process.
- Establish measurable goals and strategies as a team to help achieve communication development.
- Monitor progress and review plans at least every six months.
- Provide services in natural environments during the routines of the children/families.
- Coach caregivers to promote the continuance of strategies between visits.
- Work with other early intervention professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, communication changes, and progress notes.
- Attend and participate in interdisciplinary teaming meetings to discuss and facilitate complete care for children.
- Remain informed about current research and best practices in early intervention speech-language pathology.
- Timely and accurate submission of necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of CT.
- Experience working in the field of pediatrics or early intervention.
- Experience conducting assessments and implementing intervention plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and others in implementing intervention strategies.
- Genuine passion for working with young children to support their development and health.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, attention to detail.
- Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to providing excellent care.
