The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Contractors to perform a wide range of repairs and improvement tasks in and around residential properties. This role requires a diverse skill set, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repair skills. The Handyman/contrator must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and provide excellent customer service to our customers. As a Handyman/Contractor, you will be responsible for completing all items in work orders, troubleshoot tasks, quote items that need further evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- General Repairs: Perform minor repairs on the home's plumbing systems, electrical systems, and structural components.
- Carpentry: Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, decks, fence, substructure.
- Painting and Drywall: Patch holes in walls and ceilings, perform touch-up painting, and complete full-room painting projects as needed.
- Plumbing: Fix leaks, unclog drains, replace fixtures, and install appliances like dishwashers and garbage disposals.
- HVAC: Repair duct work, condensation pans, bath fans, etc.
- Electrical: Replace light bulbs, install new light fixtures, replace outlets and switches, and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Home Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC filter changes, gutter cleaning.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with office and field staff to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
Qualifications:
- Own and operate their own bussisines.
- Have General Liability insurance and Workers Comp. This is an absolute requirment, no exceptions.
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, with a strong background in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical work.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for working with HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Handyman type contractors are the most needed, however, other trades can be considered.
