Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Integrative/Functional Medicine Physician(MD or DO) to join our team! The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients, focusing on preventive health measures and the management of chronic conditions. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a variety of health issues while promoting overall wellness within the community. At I-Squared Medical Group, we specialize in hormone therapy, weight loss, lyme disease, mold and overall lifestyle management. Additional services but not limited to also include nutrition, acupuncture, massage and IV therapy. This is a full-time or a part-time position. Full benefits will be provided to Full-Time employees.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide clinical guidance, and mentor Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) within the collaborative care model
- Provide counseling and education to patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks)
- Stay current with medical advancements, research, and clinical trials in the field of internal medicine
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certified
Experience:
- Experience in primary care, functional integrative medicine settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Strong clinical skills with experience in managing a diverse patient population.
