We are seeking a proactive and friendly Part-Time HR Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for employees, candidates, and visitors, providing essential support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and assisting with various HR functions, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a back-up to cover front desk Receptionist for breaks, lunch, meetings, etc.
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate HR personnel.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating HR-related events.
- Maintain the reception area and ensure it is organized and presentable.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Provide support for onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Assist prospects with completing job application online.
- Assists with the internal newsletter.
- Perform additional administrative tasks such assist with wellness initiatives, and annual company engagements when needed.

- Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening as a condition of employment

Physical Demands
- Sedentary work with lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 lbs. occasionally, sitting most of the time.

Work Environment
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 2 – 3 years of administrative or clerical support preferred in an HR environment
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
