Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage a dynamic team, ensure outstanding customer service, and drive sales growth. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, operational excellence, and community engagement.
Duties
- Lead all aspects of store operations including sales, customer service, inventory management, and merchandising to meet business goals.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure they deliver excellent service and adhere to company standards.
- Manage employee orientation programs, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling to maintain accurate records.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize store profitability.
- Supervise shift management, cashiering activities, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure smooth transactions.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management, communication skills, and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management with supervisory responsibilities; familiarity with assistant manager roles is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency.
- Expertise in employee recruiting, training & development, and team supervision.
- Skilled in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math for accurate financial analysis.
- Proficient in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across store operations.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in managing retail sales teams and supervising staff shifts.
