Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system installations. As a Lead Installer, you will oversee the installation process from start to finish, ensuring all projects meet safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. Duties
- Lead and coordinate HVAC system installations, including air conditioning, heating units, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and perform repairs on HVAC/R systems efficiently.
- Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems, boilers, refrigeration units, and other mechanical components to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance needs, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, EPA regulations for refrigerants, and safety standards.
- Mentor junior installers by sharing technical knowledge in HVAC design, plumbing integration, electrical systems, and property maintenance practices.
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair.
- Proven service technician experience with troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs on HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems.
- Skilled in plumbing work related to HVAC applications and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration.
- Proficient in using hand tools, electrical testing devices like ohmmeters, and other maintenance equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge covering HVAC/R systems, boilers, air conditioning units, electrical systems, and property maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with <PERSON> driver requirements preferred.
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical or refrigeration are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
