Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Hydrogeologist to support environmental and mining projects across the western United States. In this role, you will lead hydrogeologic investigations, analyze groundwater data, develop conceptual site models, and provide technical expertise to advance projects from site characterization through remediation and closure.

- Plan and manage hydrogeologic investigations and site characterization programs.
- Analyze groundwater and environmental data to support project objectives.
- Develop conceptual site models and evaluate groundwater flow systems.
- Conduct aquifer testing, groundwater-surface water interaction assessments, and contaminant fate and transport analyses.
- Support analytical and numerical groundwater modeling efforts.
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
- Mentor junior staff and support team development.
- Assist with project planning, resource coordination, and business growth initiatives.
- Participate in occasional fieldwork and travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of hydrogeology or groundwater investigation experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to identify data gaps and effectively communicate technical findings.
- Experience working independently and mentoring junior professionals.
- Strong understanding of hydrogeologic principles, aquifer hydraulics, and groundwater systems.
- Experience with contaminant fate and transport evaluations.
- Knowledge of groundwater-surface water interactions.
- Experience supporting mining or large-scale environmental projects.
- Familiarity with inorganic/metals chemistry.
- Proficiency with groundwater modeling software such as AQTESOLV, MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas, or HEC software.
