Job Summary

Duties
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring high-quality beverage and food preparation while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Train, motivate, and supervise team members to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food handling
- Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks using professional equipment
- Process retail sales transactions accurately utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Manage cash handling procedures, process cash transactions, and reconcile register drawers at shift end
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to cleaning schedules and food safety protocols
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, restocking ingredients, and placing orders as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and inventory counting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a café environment
- Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work atmosphere
