Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate at UPS, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while promoting our services. This position is essential for driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction in our retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing products and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about services offered.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to company policies.
- Engage with customers to upsell additional services or products where appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
- Experience with stock management and merchandising is beneficial.
