Registered Nurse -Critical Care
Location: Rockford, Illinois
Pay Rate: $55 to $60/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ICU / Step-Down ICU for a 13-week contract in Rockford, Illinois. This role requires strong ICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting and flexibility to float down to Step-Down ICU as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to ICU and Step-Down ICU patients.
Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards.
Develop and follow individualized patient care plans.
Document patient care accurately in Epic.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
Support patient safety, quality care, and department improvement efforts.
Float to Step-Down ICU as required.
Requirements
Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Education verification required.
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
Level 1 Trauma Center ICU experience strongly required.
Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
Epic EMR experience preferred.
Must be willing to float to Step-Down ICU.
Holiday coverage required.
