Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation
- Support industrial cleaning tasks that may include heavy-duty equipment or specialized cleaning procedures
- Assist with facilities maintenance activities like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways by following established protocols
- Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is highly desirable
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
