Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to make sushi inside a grocery store sushi market.
- Duties
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday schedule with more days potentially
- Location is a Fujisan market franchise
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all food handling processes
- Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and proper storage of seafood, rice, vegetables, and other supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine
- Strong knife skills with the ability to create precise cuts for sushi ingredients
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
