We’re growing and looking for caring, dependable animal lovers to join our patient-care team as Kennel Technicians. Whether you’re experienced or just starting your veterinary journey, we’ll provide the mentorship and hands-on learning to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
As a Kennel Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our patients comfortable, clean, and cared for. You’ll work directly with our medical and client-care teams to ensure every pet receives five-star attention and compassion.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Provide daily husbandry for boarding and daycare dogs and cats — including feeding, watering, medicating, and monitoring well-being.
- Exercise pets and ensure they enjoy a clean, safe, and enriching environment.
- Maintain hospital-level cleanliness in kennels, wards, and common areas.
- Give gentle, low-stress baths and nail trims.
- Assist in observing, recording, and communicating any changes in patient health or behavior.
- Accurately document all care provided in Covetrus Pulse (our practice software).

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 6 months in a veterinary, shelter, or professional boarding environment preferred — but we’ll train the right candidate who fits our culture.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the shift.
- Compassion & Professionalism: A genuine love for animals and commitment to treating each one like family.
- Teamwork: Positive, reliable, and communicative — thrives in a busy, collaborative environment.
- Flexibility: Willing to work rotating weekends and holidays (shared fairly among team members).

- Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience (starting at $9–$11/hour)
