Responsibilities
·License and Private Label Apparel Company located downtown LA. We do screen print garments on cut/sew apparel and premade garments. Fast paced environment and ability to wear many hats in production. Previous experience with Hot Topic, Spencers, Fashion Nova, Ross, Burlington and other similar retailers is a plus.
Oversee daily production for multiple factories (domestic, Mexico and overseas) to ensure all daily tasks are completed and production is running smoothly
· Create and issue all production purchase orders to factories, wash houses, and screen printers in a timely manner
· Manage delivery dates and provide, maintain, and analyze weekly production WIP reports from each factory to ensure all T&A calendars for customers are adhered to
· Track all preproduction and production sampling and approvals in conjunction with sample coordinator and help with follow-up to ensure production is on-time
· Purchase blank tees from mills and distributors and obtain accurate shipping dates for outstanding po’s following up to ensure delivery to factories
· Manage inventory reporting of blanks across several warehouse locations while, tracking all associated costs
· Generate inventory forecasts for blank tees based on-hand stock, as well as upcoming sales order projections
· Develop and foster strong cross-functional relationships with all team members, and contractors
· Troubleshoot all production issues (fit, graphics, quality) and help resolve problems that lead to production delays
· Notify all departments of potential delays including shipping, sales, customer service
· Assist in the costing of new designs, working with overseas suppliers to achieve desired margin goals and needed lead times while reviewing all new orders for best cost and delivery
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 yrs in a similar role with strong emphasis on embellishment techniques (screen printing, heat transfers, embroidery, rhinestones, etc.)
· Tee shirt and fast-fashion background a plus
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining diplomacy and a high-degree of professionalism
· Strong computer skills including Excel and familiarity with an ERP apparel system
· Excellent judgement and organizational ability while being energetic and enthusiastic
· Good working knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, measuring garments, tech packs, spec sheets
· Ability to roll-up sleeves and take on additional tasks as needed and step-in whenever necessary in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company
· Knowledge of various testing protocols for various retailers including Fashion Nova, Cracker Barrel, etc.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet all deadlines
