We are currently looking for an engaging, experienced early childhood educator to work with our little ones this summer!
Starting July 2nd through August 28th, my 17-month-old son and my 16-month-old niece and nephew will be spending Thursdays and Fridays (8AM–4PM) at their grandmother’s home in Dyer, IN. We’re hoping to find someone who can provide a fun, nurturing, and educational environment for them over the course of the summer.
This position is 16 hours per week and would be ideal for a teacher or early childhood educator who is off for the summer and enjoys working with toddlers in a small-group setting.
We’re specifically looking for someone with experience in early childhood learning who can incorporate:
- Language development & early literacy
- Mandarin experience is a huge plus!
The kids will also have access to a great outdoor space for sensory play and outdoor activities.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with toddlers/early childhood education
- Reliable transportation to Dyer, IN
- Subject to background check
There is also a possibility for the position to extend beyond the summer and include additional hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
