We are seeking candidates for the following position:
Accounts Receivable Representative
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for assisting the Accounting group daily in the areas of Cash, Collections, and other tasks. In this position you will be working with both electrical distributors as well as customers, it is necessary to be able to differentiate between the two. There will be situations that will require in-depth research before resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applying daily cash receipts received via check and ACH
- Unapplied cash resolution
- Resolution of daily invoice errors
- Issuance of Tax Credits/Invoices as needed
- Issuance of credits/rebills as needed
- Special projects as assigned
- Collections of past due accounts – responsible for a minimum of 5 assigned accounts
- Other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of cash applications/cash receipts experience
- Ability to match a PO to an invoice
- Strong 10-key skills (8,000 kph min)
- Type 30-40 wpm
- Unapplied cash resolution experience
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to multitask daily
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with Excel and formatting spreadsheets
- Strong communications skills
- Strong computer skills
- Previous collections experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
