Maintenance Mechanic II (1605113) - Summary:
This role supports production equipment maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment, with a focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. The work centers on packaging equipment, process machinery, warehouse equipment, and related fabrication or machine-shop tasks using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- 1-5+ years of production equipment maintenance experience, with regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC/control logic troubleshooting; PLC programming experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including packaging equipment, process machinery, warehouse equipment, and related plant equipment.
- Perform routine, periodic, and special inspections plus preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment downtime.
- Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication methods, and machine-shop tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Important Notes
- This is an equipment-focused maintenance role, not a residential, commercial, or building-only maintenance opening.
- The role is site-based in the Asbury Park, NJ area, with one first-shift opening and one second-shift opening, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM.
- Candidates should be comfortable working around production machinery and supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations.
