THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a driven, self-directed Business Development and Sales Representative to own new business growth throughout Tennessee.
This role does not rely on inbound leads. You will be responsible for finding your own opportunities and closing them—from first contact all the way through to signed contract. You will identify prospects, build relationships, submit proposals, and see deals through to completion.
This role is for someone who can open doors and close deals. You are energized by the chase, disciplined in your follow-through, and ready to be held accountable to real revenue targets from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and pursue net new business opportunities throughout Tennessee with a focus on commercial, industrial, and institutional clients
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to proposal submission and close
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities in Salesforce
- Conduct jobsite visits and site surveys as needed to support accurate scoping and proposal development
- Partner with estimating and operations teams to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time
- Represent All Ether at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
- Report weekly on pipeline activity, proposals submitted, and sales progress against goals
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The right person for this role has a proven record of finding and closing new business in a B2B environment.
Industry experience in low-voltage, telecom, security, electrical, or construction is valuable and will accelerate your ramp-up, but it is not a requirement. If you bring the right character, work ethic, and sales instincts, we will invest in helping you succeed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of generating and closing new business
- Comfortable owning the full sales cycle with no dependence on inbound leads
- Strong communicator—written, verbal, and in-person
- Comfortable selling to multiple stakeholders, including facilities managers, project managers, and C-level executives
- Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout Tennessee regularly
- Industry experience in low-voltage, telecom, security, electrical, or construction is a plus
