Position Summary:
The Foreman is responsible for managing and supervising field staff and work performed on commercial projects. As a field manager the Foreman is responsible for ensuring that project work is completed in an efficient and timely manner while ensuring both quality and safety standards are met. The Foreman is responsible for coordinating with the main office, clients, employees, and suppliers to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources and that project plan, blueprints, and specifications are adhered to.
Position Description:

Supervise crews of employees and prioritize daily work assignments.
- Monitor crew activities to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Read and interpret plans, material lists, and project guidelines while adhering to required timelines.
- Conduct Monday morning Toolbox Talks.
- Perform all standard and advanced installation and construction duties, including project layout, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Organize, supervise, lead, and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and schedules.
- Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Enforce all client-required safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including employee discipline and required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in commercial masonry.

Possess an OSHA 30 – Construction certification.
- Extensive knowledge of bricklaying, stonework, and blockwork techniques.

Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Ability to follow instructions and possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of math.

Ability to operate an iPad.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, stretching, and working outside.

Physically able to perform labor required to lay brick, stone, and concrete blocks.

Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 50 pounds alone.

Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.

Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work at night when needed.
