Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist (adult or child/adolescent) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across various age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless integration of mental health services within broader healthcare settings.
- Manage medical documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records, intake forms, and progress notes.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with advancements in psychiatry, trauma care (including PTSD), addiction counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Post-residency experience in behavioral health or related fields is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in pediatric psychiatry, geriatrics, inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, diagnostic evaluation, and mental health counseling techniques.
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring crisis intervention or PTSD care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic medical records systems, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication abilities.

Pay: $212,657.34 - $256,103.47 per year
